Blog created to share Los Moriscos Secondary School's experience in the Comenius project: "Students and Parents in Partnership". Turkey, Sweden, Romania, Poland, United Kingdom and Spain will be closer these two years 2010-2012
The project is over. And we feel happy and sad at the same time. And it's because we have lived so many wonderful unforgettable moments but... who knows when we will see our friends from Europe again. Amigos, para siempre!!!!
Now it's time to share this partnership with others who want to try this awesome experience. We use the European Shared Treasure webpage whose aim is to increase the visibility of projects across Europe and facilitate access to information. Hopefully other schools will gain inspirations and ideas with our project.

Our Polish friends have celebrated the end of the project, Students and Parents in Partnership, with this great work. Dziekuje again, for giving us unforgettable moments. This will be one of them.

To complete our last workshop, European citizenship, we have taken part in the "Europe Day competition 2012" organised by the Government of Extremadura.
The objectives of this competition are to develop the concept of European citizenship while adquiring basic knowledge about Europe, to promote the interest in multilinguism and to use ICT as a working tool.
Taking care of the environment is one of the last workshops of the project. We have decided to share one day together and cleaning up and recycling all the litter we have found in our mountains.
Our Javi-Pedro has done it again. He is the only one who is able to gather parents, students and teachers a make them sing in different languages creating a magical experience. We can only be proud of all the participants in this Comenius Festival.

Birmingham is the last destination within our Comenius project. After visiting five countries the last meeting will be held from 13th to 18th May. Seven students and four teachers will have the chance to share these days with our partners. What a happy and a sad moment at the same time!
The Spanish team has just come back from Romania and they are so pleased with the visit they even dream they are still there. Thanks, again and again, to our Romanian friends for this unforgettable experience.

The students of classical languages invited their mothers to a school trip to Almendralejo. Two teachers, Javi and Pilar, were the guides and they all enjoyed a day visiting the ancient tomb of Huerta Montero, the Town Hall or the Church of the Purification. Students and Parents in Partnership!!
Our students have taught their parents some lessons on phonetics, natural science and music. They took more than an hour but everybody enjoyed so much that it seemed only a few minutes. Thanks to all the parents who shared these classes with us. Thanks to all our kids who worked so hard. And thanks Elva, Emilia, Antonio, Sergio and José Manuel, you are simply great!!!!.
